More info

Dorilli is a Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico DOCG by Planeta. An expression of an ancient and noble wine, it is the result of a blend of Nero d'Avola and Frappato di Vittoria. It is a wine that knows how to tease with softness and roundness and is able to conquer with its ripe tannins that are well suited to accompany well seasoned and peppery roast pork ribs.

Dorilli is also a pleasant surprise with oily fish cooked in stews, guazzetti or Asian-style spicy fish combinations.

Planeta's Dorilli has a ruby-purple colour and hints of ripe cherries combined with hints of cardamom, vanilla and cinnamon. The palate reveals complex flavours of smoked bacon, cooked must and marjoram, mixed with oriental spices.

Matured for 12 months in 36 hl oak barrels, this Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico can be drunk immediately or aged for 5 to 10 years, following its evolution.

Dorilli bears the same name as the Planeta estate where it was born. Here, only Nero d'Avola and Frappato vines are selected to ensure that the limited production gives rise to an elegant and fine red wine of great value.

Dorilli differs from Cerasuolo in its blend composition and vinification process.
