Riserva del Governatore is a Bortolomiol millesimato, an extra brut sparkling wine using the Martinotti method. The label, long thought out and perfected by Giuliano Bortolomiol, was presented on the occasion of a visit by an illustrious personage to Valdobbiadene, who was interested in trying an unusual, refined sparkling wine.

Hence the name of the label and the beginning of its success.

Riserva del Governatore is a fragrant and aromatic sparkling wine; its remarkable freshness contrasts well with the opulence of both meat and fish dishes.

The mousse is abundant, the perlage is fine-grained, continuous and persistent. Riserva del Governatore Bortolomiol has complex aromas and releases olfactory sensations in a gradual manner; its stay on the lees and good structure highlight a deep and unsparkling aromatic profile. The colour is straw yellow.

Its serving temperature is 6-8 °C.
