Like every Lungarotti signature bubbly, this label denotes flavours, aromas and perlage that prove invaluable for toasting, but also for enhancing the qualities of the dishes it accompanies. In fact, the Brut Rosé sparkling wine is excellent with aperitifs and fish-based appetisers. Merit also goes to its origins, the terroir of the Torgiano (PG) area, and to the Pinot Grigio and Sangiovese grapes that ripen under the best benefits.

Brut Rosé is a pleasantly rounded classic method sparkling wine. It has an onion skin colour, brilliant and clear, with a fine-grained and persistent perlage. The nose is persuasive with notes reminiscent of bread crust, pink wisteria, hazelnut, menthol and a hint of citrus on the finish. The taste is fresh and enveloping, decidedly almondy and mineral on the finish.

This Lungarotti label is made from Pinot Grigio and Sangiovese grapes, grown in the Umbrian terroir of Torgiano. The grapes are harvested between the end of August and the beginning of September and follow a medium-long vinification cycle, respecting the classic method of production: prise de mousse for nine months and remuage on pupitres. Brut Rosé remains on the nose for one month before disgorgement and a further two months before bottling.

Brut Rosé with its special, fine pink bubbles is particularly suitable for topical aperitifs and also as a continuation of the entire meal. It is particularly exalted with smoked salmon, beef carpaccio, sashimi and tempura, fois gras and sushi.
