The Bukkuram Sole d'Agosto 2015 Magnum is the freshest and youngest passito in the Marco De Bartoli winery. The indispensable element for the growth of a good vineyard has always been the sun, especially to give life to a passito of Pantelleria made from only Zibibbo grapes. Hence the name "Sole d'Agosto".
The wine comes from small trees of Pantelleria on volcanic soil. The harvest is done manually in the second week of August for the grapes to be dried (drying in the sun for at least two weeks on special drying racks), while in the first week of September the grapes are selected for vinification. After the long process of fermentation and maceration with raisins, there follows a period of refinement in casks for 6 months and in vats before going into the bottle.
At sight, the Bukkuram Sole d'Agosto 2015, fascinates for its golden yellow with slight amber hues. The perfumes that can be perceived are numerous: dried fruit, figs, almonds and candied fruit together with marine and spicy sensations. The palate is enveloped by a warm and elegant personality, giving space in the finish to a fresh balsamicity.
