Full-bodied and elegant, Donnafugata's Tancredi is an important red wine with great personality.

It is born as a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Nero d'Avola and Tannat, grown on very mineral soils on the Contessa Entellina estate. Before the harvest, as always, the grapes are carefully selected so that only the best can produce a wine of high quality.

Deep ruby red in colour, the Tancredi offers a delightful wealth of aromas on the nose: ripe fruit, such as blueberry, plum and mulberry, alternates with balsamic notes and delicate hints of liquorice and tobacco. The palate is characterised by its important structure supported by perfectly integrated tannins, it is enveloping and has a long aftertaste persistence.

With a decisive character that is a worthy expression of the strongest side of its terroir, Tancredi goes well with game dishes, signature burgers and steaks. It is an elegant wine with a strong character, suitable to brighten up the best moments in company.

We recommend serving Donnafugata's Tancredi red wine at a temperature between 16 and 18 °C.
