Favinia Le Sciabiche is a red wine born from the synergic action between sea, wind and land, linked to the great work of the Firriato wineries on the Sicilian territory. In fact, this red wine is part of the so-called heroic viticulture of the sea, capable of producing precious labels in extreme environments in terms of climatic conditions and proximity to the sea.

Favinia Le Sciabiche is distinguished by its elegant hints of Mediterranean maquis that lend themselves to accompanying savoury foods such as fillet of veal with wild mushrooms, pork ribs with oregano, stewed chicken livers, venison with truffles, tuna meatballs with citrus and bay leaves. Among cheeses, mature cheeses with a firm texture are preferable.

With an intense colour of purplish tones, Favinia Le Sciabiche presents itself to the eye. The nose is a harmony of elegant currant and blackberry nuances, alternating with hints of cloves, delicate spices and blond tobacco enveloped in fresh balsamic notes. Consistent on the palate, it suggests fragrant flesh that fills the palate with confidence and directs towards a powerful structure, with noble, fine and enveloping tannins.

Favinia Le Sciabiche's finish reveals distinct minerality and savouriness, reminiscent of the wonderful sea that washes Sicily. Serve at 12-14 °C.
