More info

Brunello Luce is an important red wine in the national oenological panorama and not only. First in Italy to conquer the DOCG, Brunello di Montalcino is one of the Italian excellences in the world and Luce di Marchesi Frescobaldi carries on this path of extreme quality. As a good Brunello, elegant and balanced, Luce meets with pleasure the flavors of meat with long cooking such as stews, braised meats and stews. It is also excellent with game. Luce offers all its majesty already to the eye, with a brilliant ruby red colour. The nose first suggests balsamic notes of Mediterranean scrub, blond tobacco and cocoa, then reveals hints of ripe black fruit, cherries in alcohol. In the mouth it guarantees precise tannins, with stimulating sapidity and freshness. Brunello di Montalcino Luce is a wine destined to reveal itself fully after a long ageing process: it matures in French oak barriques and Slavonian oak barrels for 36 months.
