Camelot 2016

Camelot Firriato is an elegant red wine with great depth of flavour. Its organoleptic characteristics are the result of 20 years of research that the Firriato winery has conducted on the local soil and climate conditions, in order to favour the optimal cultivation of the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that give life to the wine.

Its balanced character makes Camelot an ideal red to enhance the flavours of robust red meats and roasts, game and hard mature cheeses.

With an intense ruby red colour, Camelot presents itself to the eye. On the nose, it offers a broad and complex bouquet that, at first impact, reveals very fine fruity tones of blueberries, raspberries and wild strawberries; then, it opens up to delicious nuances of cherries and black cherries in jam, cinnamon, cocoa, eucalyptus, mint and Mediterranean herbs.

The Camelot Firriato envelops the palate with softness and depth in balance with a fresh, dynamic acid component and sumptuous, well-turned tannins. Serve at 18-20 °C.
