La Postilla

La Postilla is a sweet sparkling wine from Cantine del Notaio, made from 100% Moscato di Basilicata grapes.

Straw yellow in colour, La Postilla has a brilliant appearance, with fine-grained and persistent perlage and cheerful and lively white foam. The nose suggests the typical notes of Moscato, of white acacia flowers and hints of sage; it confirms the delicate aroma on the palate, where it is sweet and persistent, with a long and pleasant finish of fruity hints of white peach.

The sweet sparkling wine La Postilla is an expression of a way of making wine that over the years has been able to combine tradition and modernity in a perfectly harmonious manner; the work of Cantine del Notaio has focused in particular on enhancing the value of Aglianico del Vulture, without however disdaining other important varieties, as in this case with Moscato di Basilicata.

Cantine del Notaio's La Postilla should be paired with desserts, dried fruit and dark chocolate and served at a temperature of around 6 °C.
