Intense and with a strong personality, Poggio alla Guardia Vigne Alte comes from a careful selection in the vineyards of Rocca di Frassinello. It is a later version of the original Poggio alla Guarda, from which it differs by the addition of Syrah grapes, a characteristic that makes this red wine even more elegant and full-bodied.

Such a label is definitely to be shown off with traditional Tuscan dishes, the Maremma classics such as pappardelle al cinghiale, acquacotta and spaghetti alla buttera.

The blend of grapes, also international, from which it is made gives this red wine exclusive organoleptic properties. Poggio alla Guardia Vigne Alte is first and foremost an intense violet colour with purple highlights. The bouquet is rich, of spices and berries, on the palate it is full, soft and persistent, the pleasant finish puts olfactory and taste in perfect harmony.

Poggio alla Guardia Vigne Alte boasts several awards, including three Veronelli stars. We recommend to serve this Rocca di Frassinello red wine at a temperature between 16 and 18 °C.
