Feudi del Pisciotto's Merlot is the product of one of the first vineyards planted by the company. In an area such as Sicily, which is historically suited to certain grape varieties, Feudi del Pisciotto has succeeded in bringing out international varieties with excellent results.

A wine of important structure and power, the Merlot comes exclusively from grapes of the same name grown in the Niscemi area.

Deep red in colour, this wine suggests delicate aromas on the nose that converge mainly towards vegetal notes, enriched by hints of blackberry and spices. In the mouth it is enveloping, demonstrating remarkable elegance.

Feudi del Pisciotto's Merlot gives its best at the table with first courses and well seasoned meats, flavours that enhance the wine's qualities to perfection. It is also excellent with mature cheeses.

It is recommended to serve this Merlot at a temperature of 16 - 18 °C.
