From Pignatello grapes grown in the rich terroir of Marsala (TP), comes the Rosso di Marco Sicilia IGT wine label of the Marco De Bartoli winery. From harvesting to vinification, every process is carried out with care and dedication in order to obtain the maximum results: a wine with a structured and characteristic profile, a favourite guest for convivial occasions with fish, cold cuts, white meats, battered vegetables and medium mature cheeses.

Rosso di Marco is made only from Pignatello grapes (also known as Perricone), an indigenous grape variety that fully expresses the peculiarities of its territory of origin, western Sicily.
Around the middle of September at De Bartoli's house the manual harvesting of Pignatello grapes for Rosso di Marco takes place, followed by maceration in steel tanks and fermentation on indigenous yeasts. The wine is then aged for twelve months in French oak barrels and another six months in steel and bottle.
In the mouth the red fruits are the master, Rosso di Marco is a wine to be enjoyed throughout the meal thanks to its easy drinking. Serve at a temperature of 16/18 °C.
