Ornello 2019

Strong and elegant, Ornello wine represents a historical symbol of Tuscan tradition: it is created in homage to the butteri, herdsmen of the Maremma. The Ornello is the long stick pinned to move the cattle.

An intense, rich red wine that goes well with meat dishes, even roasts, cold cuts and medium-aged cheeses.

Ornello comes from a blend of different red grapes; one perceives, in particular, the touch of Syrah grapes that contribute to making this wine elegant and fresh, in full Rocca di Frassinello style. It has a deep colour reminiscent of ruby red with balsamic and roasted coffee notes on the nose. On the palate, aromas of underbrush are perceived together with soft, velvety tannins.

Ornello is an icon of authentic agriculture, made up of sacrifice and work, in which wine represents a pleasant moment of refreshment for the senses and the soul.

Serve Ornello 2016 Rocca di Frassinello at a temperature of 16 - 18°C.
