Grappoli del Grillo is a Terre Siciliane IGT white wine by Marco De Bartoli. This label is the result of a winemaking process dedicated to genuineness and passion, which begins between the rows of Grillo, in the area of Marsala (TP), and ends in the bottle. Its properties are evidence of this, which, on the whole, make it an elegant and lively wine, ideal to accompany structured first courses, red meats and cheeses.

More info

The Grappoli del Grillo 2014 Magnum was born thanks to new winemaking techniques of Grillo grapes, a variety that has allowed to obtain wines with great complexity, body and longevity. Grapevines that until 30 years ago were completely unknown, are reborn with all their strength.

Grappoli del Grillo comes from Guyot espalier vines, 60 quintals of yield per hectare, harvested in the first week of September. The must obtained will remain to decant cold for at least two days, and then give space to the fermentation process in steel tanks and French oak barrels, and 12 months of aging in oak barrels in the presence of suspension yeasts.

A De Bartoli white wine to accompany dishes with a strong character. The strong yellow with greenish reflections is accompanied by a fruity and floral bouquet, with nuances of pineapple and exotic fruit. The palate is pleasantly persistent, a quality and elegant wine with a slightly bitterish finish.
