Favinia La Muciara is a Terre Siciliane IGT wine produced by Firriato. Fresh and graceful, this white wine is particularly suitable for enhancing the taste of seafood crudités, pasta with urchins, fried vegetables or fish and cheeses. Defining each of its nuances are the characteristics of the Grillo, Catarratto and Zibibbo grapes, inherited from the wine and proposed in a sip that also evokes the territory in which they grow, the area of Favignana (TP), in Sicily.

Favinia La Muciara is a wine from the Firriato cellars produced with Grillo, Cataratto and Zibibbo. Grown on the island of Favignana, these grapes transfer the soul of their terroir, with truly unique characteristics, to the white wine. Favinia La Muciara is a white wine of great versatility, enhancing the flavours of numerous fish dishes: lobster salad, shellfish soup, sea bream and sea bream in seawater, baked swordfish, raw grouper, amberjack and tuna. Its pale yellow colour is shot through with marked greenish reflections; Firriato's Favinia La Muciara has an elegant, complex bouquet that reveals nuances of orange blossom, lime and elderflower along with ginger, lavender and thyme. It is a wine that is first soft and enveloping in the mouth, then authoritative, pleasant and with vibrant acidity together with aromatic notes, savouriness and minerality. The credit for this singular character goes to the Mediterranean breeze, which creates a marine aerosol action, giving Favinia La Muciara a brackish note enveloped in elegant aromatic notes. Serve at 10-12 °C.
