The Marsala Superiore Oro Riserva 2004 has a round and fleshy taste, a result achieved thanks to the consolidated experience of the producer Marco De Bartoli. The processing of Grillo grapes, grown in the countryside of Marsala (TP), in Sicily, exalts with particular care the scents given by the terroir of origin. The addition of alcohol gives character to the wine, for a complex sip to be enjoyed in the company of spoon desserts and spicy cheeses. The Marsala Superiore Oro Riserva 2004 wine is accompanied by an elegant case.

More info

Respect for natural tradition and classic expression of other times: The Marsala Superiore Oro Riserva 2004 gives sensations and emotions difficult to emulate. It comes from sandy-calcareous soils in the warm lands of Marsala (TP), Western Sicily, on vineyards with an average age of over 40 years.

The vinification takes place following scrupulous steps. The first is the manual selection of the grapes to be squeezed, 100% Grillo grapes. This is followed by soft pressing and natural sedimentation which start the fermentation process at room temperature in chestnut oak barrels. The final refinement lasts 10 years.

The Marsala Superiore Oro Riserva 2004 presents an amber yellow with subtle topaz reflections. The nose opens with a pleasant fruity bouquet, notes of dates, plums and fresh apricots. The delicate velvety character and the light sensation of dried fruit stand out on the palate. An excellent fortified wine accompanied by an elegant case.
