At the basis of the culture of the Marco De Bartoli winery there is a clear and decisive principle: respect for natural tradition. Following this strong thought, the Marsala Superiore Oro Riserva 1987 was born, a fortified wine of refined quality, produced from the union of fresh must and brandy of the same grape from which the classic version of wine is obtained.
The Marsala Superiore Oro Riserva 1987 comes from the calcareous-sandy soils of western Sicily, in the Contrada Samperi, Marsala. Harvesting takes place in the last ten days of September, followed by soft pressing, natural sedimentation and fermentation at room temperature. Finally there is the process of aging in oak barrels for over 20 years.
The appearance of the Marco De Bartoli liqueur wine appears amber-coloured, with brilliant copper reflections. The nose is complex and full of fruity scents, dried figs, nutmeg, citrus fruits and jam. On the palate it surprises with a velvety body, fresh and soft finish. A wine to sip at the end of a meal together with desserts or homemade jams.
